Pin Up modeling is not like any other type of modeling out there.  It requires a certain attitude, a certain type of face, and a certain body type.  It's very specific.  It is the most rewarding challenge, when I can create a retro-inspired look from scratch!  Like the women of the 1940s and 1950s, I enjoy creating the physical beauty that the Pin Up look requires.  I don't wake up everyday looking like a Pin Up, it's created.

From a very young age, I always felt a strong pull towards the old, the outdated.  I lived across the street from a tiny thrift store and I can remember buying some of my clothes, room décor, and music there with my allowance.  I frequented that thrift store often and I do to this very day.  That is when my love for shopping thrifty began.

During these young years, I also fell in love with old Betty Boop cartoons.  I loved her sassy walk and her curvy figure.  I began collecting Betty Boop figurines, clothes, and knick-knacks.

And collecting Betty Boop led to watching other vintage cartoons, which led to watching old black and white films, to falling in love with Marilyn Monroe, and curly hair.  I guess you could say the rest is history.  I began studying Pin Ups and Bomber Girls and the way of life of the Depression Era all the way up through the 1960s.  I am certain I was born in the wrong decade!

I love the Pin Up community and the camaraderie this lifestyle has.  I embrace all types of women of all vintage styles and sub-styles.  I am a huge advocate of body positivity and building women up physically, mentally, and emotionally.  This world is already tough enough, so having a group of women we can all lean on is really inspiring to me.

Today, I work full-time as a Crime Analyst for my local police department.  I don't like to say that I "do Pin Up for fun."  I don't "do" Pin Up, I just "am" a Pin Up.  I enjoy all types of photography and modeling, but my very favorite is cheesecake Pin Up.  Gil Elvgren and Alberto Vargas are obvious favorites.  Style icons of mine are Dita Von Teese and Jayne Mansfield.  Some authentic vintage hair stylists, make-up artists, and modern day Pin Ups I love are Cherry Dollface, Micheline Pitt, Idda Van Munster, Mosh, Miss Bo, Miss Winny and Miss Victory Violet, just to name a few!

I hope you enjoy my website, blog updates, and ramblings.  If you'd like to advertise with me, have me test out your products, or are looking to collaborate on a modeling project or idea, please contact me!  You can find where to reach me on the Contact tab above.

So sit back, Darling, and enjoy!
